Crashing salt water waves
Assault sandy beaches and
Rugged cliffs, on the edges
of continents.
Respect the ocean.

The pleasure of standing in
the majesty and beauty
Deep in the forest
Replenishes the imagination.

The crashing ocean clears
the ears and mind of
unnecessary noise.

The silence of the forest
Enhanses
the joy of solitude.

Walking

Yesterday was world walking day. In the evening I went walking. We started at the Rose Garden at the State Capital. The 5K walk took us around the streets of Sacramento. There are so many buildings with interesting histories scattered along and in between the state government buildings which make up the majority of buildings. I walked on streets I had driven gaining a new perspective.

Frustrations

5. Getting the right combination of contacts and/or glasses to see well. Grateful they exist.

4. Layers of push 1 for........ Help lines that dont. Service people who won't.

3. Prejudice.

2. Teachers in California having to sue the governor to get their billion dollars back for education.

1. Homeless and hungry children in this country; while billions of dollars are being spent on a war that is killing children in another country.
