Monday

I tidied up my blog on the website and you can now comment, even if there's not much to comment about.

Who remembers the clock that hung in our kitchen, forever? The one that didn't restart so we always knew when the lights went out.

Who remembers the mirror that hung beside the front door of Grandma Anderson's house?

And finally who remembers the photo of our cousin Bjorn, on a beach in Sweden?

I remember the clock. I remember the mirror that was by the back door. It was kind of distorted. I remember the picture with the adhesive tape over the offensive area.
How about the old radio that was converted into a cabinet? Or the rocking chair beside it? Grampa bread and homemade rolls? yumm.

I remember none of those things which is good since I wasn't there. :-)

I remember the clock - it had a goldish-yellow frame.
I barely remember the mirror but have no recall of Cousin Bjorn attired in a piece of adhesive tape?
I vaguely remember a birthday party for Grandma A. and a cake that was shipped all the way from Sweden in a round box of some kind. And I remember her chocolate cake and my mouth waters thinking about the choc. frosting she put on it.

I think the cake was called a spitacaka or something like that.

Where is that clock?
I gave you that mirror a couple years ago when you were here.
I saw the cousin pix once, can't remember where.
The cake was called spitzcake -- wasn't too good that I recall, but a very big deal that it had arrived from Sweden and was on the front page of the paper that week.
