My computer will be getting an annual service or whatever. I will be reading blogs from another computer that doesn't want to let me comment.
Something that made my world a little nicer:
I was taking my daily, well almost daily, walk a few days ago. I walk through a nice neighborhood. A young mother and her baby--he is about 8-10 months old--were sitting in the open garage door. As I passed the baby was talking. I looked over and he was throwing me kisses--lots of kisses. I thanked him, threw a kiss back and smiled at his proud mother. My walk was no longer boring exercise.

That would be a lifter. It's always cool when a child acknowledges you. There's something about the little innocent person letting you know you are worthy.
The best sound in the world is a child laughing. I love it when some little kid in a stroller looks up and smiles and waves even though he/she doesn't know me. They are too little to know "Don't talk to strangers." It just makes my day.

I'll never forget the time I was in the grocery store and a little Latino girl, must have been 2 or 3 years old, accidently backed into me. She turned around and looked up at me, fearful and horrified until I smiled and said, "Oops. Excuse me." I got the biggest most beautiful smile I've ever seen.
